Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Hayes & Harlington, closing some lines.
Elizabeth line:
Trains that usually run between Abbey Wood and Maidenhead will run between Abbey Wood and London Paddington (Elizabeth line platforms) only.
The following stations will have a reduced service of 2 trains per hour:
- Maidenhead
- Burnham
- Slough
- Langley
- West Drayton
- Heathrow Terminal 4
The following stations will have a reduced service of 6 trains per hour:
- Hayes & Harlington
- Southall
- Ealing Broadway
The following stations will have no train service:
- Acton Main Line
- Hanwell
- West Ealing
For these stations, you should instead use London Underground services from nearby London Underground stations.
Great Western Railway:
Long distance services:
An amended and slightly reduced service will run, with long distance services to / from London Paddington will be retimed to depart up to 8 minutes earlier than usual and arrive a few minutes later than normal.
Local services:
Most trains between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway terminate / start from Reading.
Heathrow Express:
An amended Heathrow Express service will be in place between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5. The following timetable will be in place:
From London Paddington to Heathrow Terminal 5:
- A normal service every 15 minutes until 09:55
- Then at 10:25 and every 30 minutes until 22:55
- Then at 23:10 and last train at 23:25
- (An additional shuttle service will run at 22:57 from Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 to Heathrow Terminal 5)
From Heathrow Terminal 5 to London Paddington:
- A normal service every 15 minutes until 08:57, also at 09:15, 09:27 and 09:44
- Then at 10:01 and every 30 minutes until 22:31
- Then at 22:57, 23:12, 23:27, 23:42 and last train at 23:57
