Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place on Saturday between Bedford and Luton and also on Sunday between Bedford and Harpenden, closing all lines.

East Midlands Railway:

Saturday

Buses will replace trains between Bedford and Luton.

An amended train service will run between Bedford and Corby / Leicester / Nottingham / Derby / Sheffield.

Sunday

No trains will run between Bedford and London St Pancras International.

Replacement buses will run between Bedford and Hitchin (for train connections to / from London Kings Cross).

An amended train service will run between Bedford and Corby / Leicester / Nottingham / Derby / Sheffield.

Thameslink:

Saturday

Buses replace trains between Bedford and Luton.

A revised train service will run between Luton and Three Bridges / Rainham.

Sunday

Buses replace trains between Bedford and Harpenden.

A revised train service will run between Harpenden and Three Bridges.
