Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Northallerton and Newcastle, closing all lines.

CrossCountry

Buses will replace trains between York and Newcastle all weekend.

Grand Central:

Saturday

A reduced train service will operate between London Kings Cross and Bradford Interchange / Sunderland. Some trains will start / terminate at York instead of Sunderland.

Sunday

A reduced train service will operate between London Kings Cross and Sunderland. Some trains will start / terminate at York instead of Sunderland.

LNER

Buses will replace trains between York / Darlington / Durham and Newcastle all weekend.

A reduced service of one train per hour will run between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh / Aberdeen / Inverness, diverting between Northallerton and Newcastle via Eaglescliffe / Sunderland. These services will not call at Darlington or Durham.

Lumo

No services will run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle all weekend. A reduced and amended timetable will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh only.

Northern

Buses will replace trains between Middlesbrough and Newcastle all weekend, calling at Durham and Chester-le-Street.

Services between Saltburn and Bishop Auckland will run between Saltburn and Eaglescliffe only. A replacement bus service will run between Eaglescliffe and Darlington / Bishop Auckland.

TransPennine Express

Buses will replace trains between York and Newcastle.
