Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Leeds and York, closing various lines.
CrossCountry:
CrossCountry trains calling at Wakefield Westgate and Leeds will run a reduced service, and trains between Leeds and York will run to an amended timetable.
LNER:
On Saturday the 07:08 Leeds to Aberdeen service will start from York at 07:35.
On Sunday the 08:30 Leeds to Edinburgh service will start from York at 09:00.
You should use alternative services between Leeds and York.
Northern:
Buses will replace trains between:
- Leeds and York
- Leeds and Selby
TransPennine Express:
The following services will be diverted and run to an amended timetable:
- between Manchester Victoria and Redcar Central will call additionally at Stalybridge
- between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle will call additionally at Lea Green
- between Manchester Piccadilly and York via Wakefield Kirkgate will not call at Normanton (a reduced train service at Normanton on Sunday only, replacement buses will run between Castleford and Normanton on both days)
- between Leeds and Hull
- between York and Scarborough
- between Wakefield Kirkgate and York
