Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Water Orton, closing various lines after 10:45 on Saturday and all day on Sunday.

Trains between Birmingham New Street and Leicester / Stansted Airport will run between Coleshill Parkway and Leicester / Stansted Airport. Trains between Cardiff Central and Nottingham will run between Cardiff Central and Birmingham New Street, and between Coleshill Parkway and Nottingham only.

Replacement buses will run between Birmingham New Street and Water Orton / Coleshill Parkway.

Trains to / from North East England / Scotland will be diverted, not running via Tamworth. Journey times will be extended by up to 60 minutes.
