Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Tamworth, closing some lines.
From 12:25 on Saturday until the end of service on Sunday, no trains will call at Tamworth.
Replacement bus services will replace CrossCountry trains between:
- Birmingham New Street and Tamworth
- Wilnecote and Tamworth
- Tamworth and Burton-on-Trent
- Willington and Derby (Saturday only)
Trains between Cardiff Central and Nottingham will be amended to run between Cardiff Central and Birmingham New Street, and between Derby and Nottingham.
Trains between Birmingham New Street and Derby / Nottingham (and beyond) will be diverted between Birmingham New Street and Burton-on-Trent and will not call at Tamworth.
