Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Rainfall on Friday night into Saturday day will keep levels on the River Dee high. Levels will remain high over the weekend and into early next week. We are not expecting to reach Flood Warning levels. Access to Townfield could be impacted from Sunday afternoon. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Dee. Flooding is possible at low lying land and roads around the River Dee at Shocklach, Farndon, Handley, Lower Kinnerton, Chester and Puddington. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 16:00PM on 06 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
