Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: River levels are falling through most of the catchment following the rainfall from Storm Darragh. Flooding of low-lying land is possible overnight and into tomorrow, Tuesday 10 December 2024. Areas most at risk are around the Alconbury Brook at Hamerton, The Alconburys, Little Stukeley and Brampton. You are advised to move cars out of these flood risk areas. The forecast is dry this week, which will allow levels to continue to fall. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don’t put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and are not expecting it to escalate. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, Tuesday 10 December 2024.
