Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high but falling slowly on the River Ray following recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, 15/10/24 , especially in the Lower Arncott and Islip areas. Tuesday is forecast to be mostly dry with heavy rain overnight and through Wednesday. River levels are expected to remain high over the next few days and are sensitive to further rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the ‘River and Sea levels in England’ webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 15/10/24, or as the situation changes.
