Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Carlisle and Carstairs, closing some lines.
Avanti West Coast:
Trains between London Euston and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will run between London Euston and Carlisle only.
Replacement buses will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central.
On Sunday morning, a slightly reduced train service will run between Preston and Carlisle, with some replacement buses running between Preston / Lancaster and Carlisle.
Northern:
No Northern services are affected by this engineering work.
ScotRail:
Buses will replace trains between Carlisle and Dumfries.
The last journey from Carlisle to Glasgow Central will depart Carlisle at 18:33 as a replacement bus service to Dumfries, where you should change onto the 19:50 train service towards Glasgow Central.
TransPennine Express:
Trains to / from Edinburgh will run as planned.
Replacement buses will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central.
