Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Forecast high river levels tomorrow evening may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from the evening of 14 November 2025 . Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Bamford, Leadmill, Curbar, Grindleford, and Rowsley. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Chatsworth Gauge will begin rising tomorrow evening 14/11/25. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses & plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 14 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
